While with Big Fish Mike Inks was responsible for leading the brand development and managed a team of 5 designers in establishing the first corporate brand style guide. Mike Inks was also responsible for overseeing the creative in the marketing and game operations departments and designed the company's newest marketing program called, "My Big Fish Games" that vested 100,000+ new members in the first 4 weeks on line. The company saw a 400% growth rate during the year that Mike Inks was employed by Big Fish Games.

10/23/06 Just posted some new work to the site. In the portfolio section, check out the Web/Promotions area. When you arrive in Promotions a new Flash animated promo should self load. If not, click on the first thumbnail icon to load the movie. I've also added some new links to web sites in the web site section. ALSO...check out the "What's New?" link from the main nav. This will activate a pop-up Flash window where you can view some of this years favorite work.
10/15/06 Major restructuring at BFG and basically the Marketing department was laid off from VP all the way down. Sad to say goodbye. We all loved our work there. The good news is MLI Design is already humming with activity with awesome clients like, The Web CMO, Video Poker.com and Perfect Pixels Design. Keeping my eye out for that next great company to work for but in the mean time I'll be keeping busy here! The doors are open, come on in.

1/28/06 Went to Vegas in early December where I met with the owners of "Action Gaming" about redesigning their online Video Poker Web site. 7/08/05 Transfered from Microsoft Studios on the 30th of June to the Senior UI Design position with the Microsoft Windows Media Group. Also doing some work with MediaPro in Bothell, designing Flash animated training videos. My first project with them is for American Express.
6/01/05 Working with FCB Advertising - Seattle, on various Flash animated banners for clients such as Nautilus and 24 Hour Fitness.
4/08/05 Contract at Microsoft Studios has been extended to July. Will be working on various projects including art directing Flash and After Effects animations.
3/26/05 Contract at Microsoft Studios has been extended to April 8th. Designing UI pages for DVD training videos. Further samples to come.
